Recently, Rainbow Avenue (Xiaoshan section)one of Hangzhou Asian Games projects, officially entered a new stage of test run.

The length of Rainbow Avenue Expressway (Xiaoshan section) project is around 13.7 kilometers. XCMG 1250-ton crawler crane XGC16000 fully participated in the construction.

The major difficulty of the project is the operation with high oblique angle, the construction of the main bridge pier adjoined the contact mesh, and the erection of a 48-meter box girder across railway. As the box girder crosses the traffic line, each construction window is only about 2 hours.

After comprehensive consideration, project department decided to use XGC16000 crawler crane for hoisting operations. Equipped with visual emplacement system, XGC16000 crawler crane managed to complete construction work against narrow construction site and tight deadline.

XGC16000 adopts 96mx18m amplitude main boom which is independent, flexible, convenient, and efficient. The person in charge of the site said: “Its construction capacity and operational performance are suitable for unilateral operation and large span construction.”

With a variety of boom combinations, crawler crane XGC16000 is one of the main force of the thousand-tonnage crawler cranes to meet the hoisting need of wind power construction, petrochemical installation and marine projects. XGC16000 is safe, reliable and economical, and has been sold to many countries and regions, and is welcomed by customers around the globe.
