Large tonnage open-pit mining machinery is a manufacturing highland. Open-pit mine construction features large dust, heavy load and high strength. The equipment operates almost all the time. The extreme construction environment puts forward more stringent requirements on the technology and quality of the products, which tests the strength of every construction machinery manufacturer.

XCMG has transitioned from “the newest” to “the most experienced” in ten years. The launch of 700-ton hydraulic excavator has made China become the fourth country in the world capable of manufacturing hydraulic excavators of same tonnage and more. Each breakthrough of XCMG mining machinery has injected strong endogenous power into China’s high-end equipment manufacturing. 

After ten years of sharpening the sword and trying the frost and cold, XCMG mining equipment has been exported to Indonesia, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and other global high-end markets, breaking the long-term monopoly of foreign brands and winning the trust and recognition of global customers.

The launch this time includes 400-ton hydraulic excavators and 260-ton mining dump trucks. It is the first large tonnage complete construction project of XCMG’s South American high-end mining market and the largest market order for a Chinese brand in the industry so far in the South American market.

Under the tense situation of intensified global trade barriers and irregular outbreaks of the epidemic, this extraordinary export will undoubtedly provide a boost for the development of China’s high-end mining equipment.
