01. Excavator

According to the statistics of the main manufacturing enterprises of excavators by China Construction Machinery Industry Association, 16,809 excavators of various types were sold in May 2023, down 18.5% year-on-year, including 6,592 domestic units, down 45.9% year-on-year; 10,217 units were exported, up 21% year-on-year.

 

From January to May 2023, a total of 93,052 excavators were sold, down 23.9% year-on-year; of which 44,933 were domestic, down 43.9% year-on-year; 48,119 were exported, up 13.9% year-on-year.

 

02. Loader

 

According to the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on the main manufacturing enterprises of loaders, 9066 loaders of various types were sold in May, 2023, down 18% year-on-year. Among them, the domestic market sales of 4,523 units, down 37.4% year-on-year; export sales of 4,543 units, up 18.7%.

 

From January to May 2023, a total of 48,042 units of various types of loaders were sold, down 10.7% year-on-year. Among them, 25,592 units were sold in the domestic market, down 29.8% year-on-year; 22,450 units were exported, up 29.3% year-on-year.

 

A total of 806 units of electric loaders (5 units of 3 tons, 574 units of 5 tons and 227 units of 6 tons) were sold from January to May 2023, of which 246 units were sold in May.
